Débora Danjuma Represents IFRoS at EuroPython 2025

Débora, student of the IFRoS 2023–2025 cohort, attended EuroPython 2025 thanks to the support of the IFRoS programme and the Python Software Foundation. At the conference, she explored tools like Ray, JAX, and Numba to accelerate robotics computations, gave a lightning talk on underwater robots, and made her first open-source contribution.

“Thanks to the IFRoS programme and the support of the Python Software Foundation (along with the other sponsors of the Europython conference), I had the privilege of attending EuroPython 2025. This experience was transformative: I learned to apply powerful tools like Ray, JAX, and Numba to accelerate real-time robotics computations, gave a lightning talk on Python and underwater robots, and even made my first open-source contribution to the BeeWare project. Beyond the technical growth, EuroPython connected me with inspiring mentors, colleagues, and the wider Python community. This opportunity, made possible through IFRoS, has expanded my vision and strengthened my path as a future robotics engineer.”
