This year, once again, students from the Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS) and Master in Industrial Robotics and Automation (MIRS) programs had the opportunity to visit the facilities of TAVIL, one of our valued associated partners, located in Sant Jaume de Llierca, Spain. This is the third year that TAVIL has welcomed our students, continuing a great tradition of collaboration and learning.
The visit was guided by Pol Toldrà, who welcomed the students and provided a tour of the company. Pol explained how TAVIL’s advanced technologies in packaging and automation work, showing how the concepts students learn during their master’s programs are applied in the real world.
For the students, it was an insightful experience. Seeing these technologies in action helped them connect the theory from their classes to practical applications in industry.
Professors Rafael Garcia and Narcís Palomeras joined the visit, supporting the students and highlighting the importance of maintaining strong links between academic learning and professional practice.
We’re deeply thankful to TAVIL and Pol Toldrà for making this visit possible and for continuing to offer our students such insights into the industry. Experiences like these are key to preparing our graduates for their future careers in robotics and automation.
