IFROS February Meetings

The last week of February was an eventful period for IFROS, filled with meaningful discussions and valuable exchanges aimed at enhancing the experience of current and future cohorts.

Feedback Session with IFRoS-4 Students

Our first meeting with IFROS, jointly with MIRS Masters students, focused on gathering feedback from current IFRoS-4 students to refine and improve the program for the next cohort. Students provided insights on academics, administration, and student support, highlighting both strengths and areas for enhancement. International students shared their challenges and suggestions, fostering an open dialogue on improving their overall experience.

Mobility Insights: UNIZG Zagreb & ELTE Budapest

On Monday, February 24, and Tuesday, February 25, we conducted a virtual session to guide students in selecting their third-semester mobility destination. Professors from UNIZG Zagreb and ELTE Budapest shared their expertise and specialization areas.

Beyond academics, discussions extended to life in Zagreb and Budapest, covering accommodation, student activities, and—most importantly—the exceptional laboratory and research facilities available at both institutions.

Inspiring Alumni Meet (Feb 26, Wednesday)

We concluded the week with a heart-warming Alumni Meeting, where recent IFROS graduates connected with current students, sharing their experiences across mobility countries, specializations, and master’s thesis journeys. Their insights provided invaluable guidance, helping students navigate their academic paths with greater clarity and confidence.

These sessions not only strengthened our community but also empowered students to make informed decisions, ensuring their journey in IFROS is both fulfilling and impactful.
